I was given a pint a few weeks ago. I think Bao gave me a little different chocolate mixture than his first batch. The batch i had was very good. I'm not a biggest Rocky Road fan so i will break it down. Chocolate=yummy Marshmellows=i'm not a big fan of marshmellows in ice cream so i have a jaded opionon on this. Thus I plead the 5th. Nuts-very good. If you could figure out how to not make them soggy(sp?) that would rock. But not sure thats even possible unless you coat them in some material that is moisture resistant (thompsans water seal).
i have to say it was by far the best rocky road i have tried. the chocolate had something special in it i couldn't place. it had the right amount of add-ins. and those marshmellows, yum! i loved that they stayed soft even though frozen. they were a perfect compliment to the chocolate! keep it up and keep it coming. :)
I just found your blog, and I have to say I love it! How great is it that you make all these different ice creams!! Do you usually store them in traditional ice cream containers, or in airtight tupperwares? I would love to be able to try a lot of your different flavors, but I have yet to get an ice cream attachment...
